I'm in love with life and color and continualy pleasured by natures gifts. Seashore, country, people and ideas equally excite my senses and command me to communicate my visions and feelings.
As a young woman, I was elated to recognize an ability to capture a particular moment in time with painted light and color. It has since been my mission to express on canvas and other surfaces a broad selection of infinite moments of inspiratioin that my environment and life experiences provide.
My formative years at Rochester Institute of Technology, many years as an art educator, on-going one woman and group exhibits, and enriching summer experiences at Oxbow Summer School of Painting in Michigan, Bennington College in Vermont, and Skidmore College in New York have all contributed to my maturation as an artist.
If my art lifts your spirits, recalls a special moment - enriches your life in some small way, then I have been profoundly rewarded.
