As you know, Fine Art is more than just a painting hanging on the wall….
There is a story behind every image and behind that story, even a larger tale of the artist himself. I have always been consumed with a passion for art, growing up in Dayton, Ohio. Even though I have never had any formal training as an artist, I spend countless hours practicing and perfecting my craft. As any person who has pursued a life-long dream will tell you, the early days were not easy. I can now fondly recall the times I had no canvas and was forced to paint on the backs of album covers, or my monochromatic series that evolved because I could only afford three tubes of paint.

Eventually, my diligence and dedication began to pay off. The architectural firm, Peacock and Lewis purchased several of my paintings for corporate institutions including First National Bank of Palm Beach Gardens and The Sanctuary of Palm Beach. Today my paintings are on exhibit in several prestigious galleries throughout Florida, the Tower Gallery on Sanibel, the Chandler Gallery in Jupiter, Meghan Candler Gallery on Vero Beach and
most recently the Sheldon in New Port, Rhode Island. I have won the esteemed Hemingway Award for Fine Art, two consecutive years on Sanibel Island. My paintings have twice placed in the prominent Hilton Head National Juried Art Exhibition. I greatly appreciate every collector but among my most notable, movie producer, Jon Landau and his wife, Julie, the former Governor of North Dakota, Jack Dalrymple and his wife, Elizabeth and Basketball Hall of Famer, Bill Cunningham.

My style has been described as “realism with a magical touch”. I paint a variety of subject matter. I love to capture wildlife in intimate, poetic moments usually unseen by human eyes. My landscapes are designed to transport the viewer to another world and invite them to explore the story of their surroundings. I also enjoy taking everyday objects and infuse my still life paintings, with what I call “playful abandon”.

I will succeed in my goal, if my paintings entice all art lovers to come away with me…
