2020 Annual Attic Sale
Time & Location
About the Event
The 14th annual Tower Gallery Attic Sale will kick off on Friday, October 23rd and run through Saturday, October 31st. For the first two days of the sale we will have tents set up outside filled with art along with art inside the gallery and on the porch. To prevent long lines and maintain social distancing, there will be multiple places outside and inside to pay for your purchases.
Tower Gallery is excited to be providing art enthusiasts and Tower supporters a rare opportunity to browse through and purchase work from some of the co-ops award-winning artists at significantly discounted prices.
The annual Attic Sale is Tower Gallery’s way of giving back to the locals who support us year after year. It's also a gift to new friends who may have recently discovered our talented group of artists. Tower Gallery represents over 25 local artists working in a multitude of mediums including sculpture, oil painting, watercolor, acrylics, raku, pottery, photography, jewelry and more. This is a chance to meet the artists and learn first hand about their work.
“The artwork at Tower is always superior and ever changing,”artist Kelly Morrison said, noting that much of the work that ends up in the Attic Sale comes from constantly rotating what’s on display at the gallery throughout the year.“ There could be that one piece that’s been in the gallery that someone has had their eye on and it might just happen to end up in the Attic Sale” said Tower Gallery artist JoAnne Bedient. “People enjoy prowling through bins and the framed pieces that aren’t hanging on the wall. It’s like going through your grandma’s attic."
Providing quality art at lower prices doesn’t just benefit the community, it benefits the artists who can use the money to purchase materials for creating new works of art. The attic sale is a way for all of the artists in the gallery to get involved with the gallery and the community. “We’re a cooperative and we love this gallery,” Morrison said.
The attic sale will go from 10:00-4:00 outside on Friday the 23rd, Saturday and Sunday, October 25th. It will continue inside the gallery Monday-Saturday, October 31st 10:00-4:00.
We will be wearing our masks and following CDC guidelines and ask that you do the same.
