This 15”x30” acrylic painting on thick canvas was inspired by a photo I took a few years ago of a woman proudly displaying her beautiful hand crafted costume in the island carnival day parade. All ages participate in this joyful event.
Local women work on their elaborate, creative costumes all year and wear them with pride as they dance in the street to the beat of infectious music.
It is a spectacular and joyful event for all!
