Having always painted, Elise studied at Rhode Island School of Design, Michigan State University and Arts Students League in NYC.
As a full time artist working in oil on linen, Elise’s works include large scale contemporary still lives, as well as portraits and landscapes.
She loves painting the beauty she sees in everyday and mundane objects, especially ones that are woven into our lives that we take for granted. As a colorist, Elise is very interested in transparency and reflection as well as how color and light interact and affect each other.
She is a member of local art associations as well as the National Association of Women Artists and shows both locally and internationally.
