Original Acrylic painting on a 60"x48" gallery-wrapped canvas. Inspired by the legendary Green Flash at the end of every sunset on the Gulf of Mexico, Megan set out to capture the strange phenomenon that so many people try their entire lives to see in person. Swimming just at sunset is a very eerie experience as the water above and below take on such different appearances. Above, the fire and light of the last sun rays, below, the calm and moody schools of fish that, except for the tides, are oblivious to the movement of our planet. The artist has "lifted the covering" of the waves, enabling the viewer to see both worlds at once.
The painting comes to you wired and ready to hang. Due to the large size of the work, and to ensure its safe arrival, the artist will hand-deliver the artwork to anyone living within a 175 mile radius of
Sanibel Island as an extra courtesy. For more information, email the artist at email@example.com.
