I have lived in Ft. Myers for 63 years, but was born in Pittsburgh. My father was a painting contractor painting steel mills and bridges. We moved here in 1959, when my father started a paint manufacturing business formulated for Florida climate. I was the one who matched color systems, before modern technology. Having paint in my veins, I turned to fine art in my late thirties, going from square foot to square inch! I love nature, even snakes and spiders. Am also a gardener so I have a plethora of inspiration in SW Florida to pull from.
