The painting is 22" x 30" in a 30" x 37" silver and gold frame.
It was 8:00 AM at Six Mile Cypress Slough on a cool April morning when I began my walk. The water was still and the birds were out. On the first turnout, I was greeted by the sun coming over the trees and water with rays of light. The serene landscape offered lush greenery with lily pads floating on the water’s surface. A duck raced across the water, destination unknown. After a few pictures, I moved on. When I saw my photos at home, I knew that this had to be my next painting.
