Meet Artist Susan Sadler

After marrying, Susan and her family moved 15 times. As an artist, Susan had a following in the area, so when they decided to look for their forever home in Florida, they chose Sanibel. They were going to try it for 5 years.

Fast forward, 23 years later, they are still enjoying their home on Sanibel.

Susan has 3 sons and 5 grands. When she is not creating art, she is traveling to visit them.

What you may not know is that Susan participates in one show per year, where she sells her hand-painted clothing. The event is the Sanibel Rotary Arts and Craft Fair(February). Susan says that after 30 years of creating her clothing, she is thrilled that people are still delighted..

She joined Tower Gallery 18 years ago to have an outlet for her paintings. Her work is lighthearted, joyful and colorful. Susan loves texture and color.

She is a very busy person. She swims daily(some of her best inspiration comes to her while doing laps). Susan can be found in her studio working 6-7 hours per day, working on 3-4 canvases at a time.
